Overview:
Beom-soo , a traffic police officer happens to see Hyun-joo, a college woman crossing the street. A few days later, he meets her again by chance, where her car crashed against a tree without the driver license. Instead of fining her, he bring her to ground yard and teaches her how to drive.

That makes them closer to each other, talking about their dreams. Beom-soo wishes to be a baseball umpire while Hyun-joo dreams of being an actress. They write as many as forty-seven love letters to each other. And they fall more in love.

Beom-soo, who bashfully proposed to her. But She refuses by saying that she will leave Korea to study. Their love seems to fade away.

Beom-soo's dream becomes a ball umpire finally. Hyun-joo also realizes her dream as a famous actress. No one expected that she would become such a famous actress. One day, Beom-soo see her acting on TV and realizes he still loves her. However, He recognizes that she is too far out of reach for him. Their rendezvous takes place on the baseball field...

watch this for some consolation when u cant get the person u want becos u are not gd enough to match ur desired partner...
